Chet Kurr
"Chubby" Chet Kurr, the newest addition and ironically the oldest member of the Skid Marks is the only musician qualified for a senior citizen discount. As a result, all musical procurements are the responsibility of this "chubby" individual who can save fellow band members 10% on every product.
Chet reads AARP magazine and remembers seeing Ted Williams play ball in the 1950's. Chet has been greatly influenced by such standouts as Lesley Uggams, Wierd Al Yankowicz, and Minnie Pearl. He had a tough choice picking his favorite TV shows. It was a tie between Mitch Miller and Lawrence Welk.
Chet contributes to the unique sound of the band with his vocals, and by playing the alto sax, tenor sax, and piano.
